As the result of an OBM audit, ODA seeks a Policy Writer to write, create, formalize, document, update existing processes and procedures to achieve full NIST compliance.

The Policy Writer must have an understanding/knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) SP 800-53.

The deliverables of this project will be distinct groups of policy and process definition, process artifacts and process logging to ensure a standardized set of outputs to be used for a broad range of audit requirements.

ODA seeks to engage a Policy Writer that has extensive experience in Software Development practices across multiple development platforms, network, infrastructure procurement and management practices and Help Desk process and procedure.

Our software development is done primarily in .Net, but we do have legacy \PowerBuilder and APEX applications. Our Wintel and AIX servers are hosted by OIT.

The day to day activities will consist of interviewing staff, collecting existing process artifacts and formulating new and consistent process and control methods.

The roadmap is our NIST audit log that identifies areas for remediation.
