The Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) is implementing an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system at its six (6) Regional Psychiatric Hospitals (RPH) and is looking for an experienced Project Manager to implement the Medicare Part D module and associated processes along with bar coding for patient management.

Position Responsibility Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the management and coordination of the EHR system implementation for our RPH so our Hospitals can achieve their defined objective. Our Project Managers work closely with our hospital staff, technical team and our vendor. The candidate we are seeking must have a background as a vendor PM.

Responsibilities
• Define strategy to achieve successful rollout of EHR modules and supporting devices
• Manage the implementation utilizing the vendor’s project management methodology utilizing a project plan
• Develop project plan and monitor accordingly to assess the progress of the project
• Prioritize and coordinate resources across multiple RPHs
• Identify and help facilitate customer issues and risks to resolution

Required Skills and Competencies
• Candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology and 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Sr. Project Manager implementing enterprise software applications
• Experience with EHR or COTS business processes and implementations
• An understanding of the Health Care industry, specifically Medicare D, Medicare/Medicaid and private insurance billing processes and, bar coding for patient management and clinical services
• Excellent communication, presentation and customer relationship skills with the ability to interact with the business and the team at all levels
• Experience as a vendor Project Manager
• Ability to work without supervision
• Excellent negotiation, conflict management, risk mitigation, issue resolution, organizational and time management skills
