Job Title: Business Analyst 3 / BA3 - Sharepoint Business Analyst

This is a Sharepoint Business Analyst position, not a Systems Administrator or Sharepoint Developer position. Sharepoint Administrators or Developers will not be considered for this position. Local candidates are highly preferred as onsite interviews are required. Please include candidate location when submitting resumes.

SharePoint Business Analyst

Requirements:

7+ years of experience as a SharePoint Business Analyst (not SharePoint Developer), to include the following:

1. Required – Must have a good understanding of what SharePoint can do Out Of the Box (meaning with no customization, just adding web parts, columns, views, 3rd party web parts or apps, etc) to be able to recommend a specific approach or toolset.
2. Required – Must have a good understanding of what SharePoint can do with "no-code" solutions (i.e., SharePoint Designer, Master Pages/Page Layouts, InfoPath, XLST, etc.) to be able to recommend a specific approach or toolset.
3. Required – Must have experience in O365 suite and concepts like branding.
4. Required – Must have experience facilitating requirements definition session and clearly documenting Requirements.
5. Required – Must have the ability to create Visio diagrams/charts, functional & design documents, and Test Scripts.
6. Required – Knowledge of adoption related activities as part of an enterprise SharePoint deployment.
7. Advantageous - Experience in delivery in other complimentary SharePoint 2013 products like Nintex or K2
8. Advantageous - Experience with Scrum and Agile Methodologies
9. Optional – Completed Microsoft SharePoint 2013 Training and/or certification

Responsibilities:

1. Ability to work with the various business and IT teams to understand, manage, and document the process enhancements, changes and updates (business process re-engineering).
2. Ability to work with organizational change management and training groups to develop methodologies for enterprise deployment.
3. Work with OIT and ODM technical and business teams to document and communicate the risks involved, the limitations, maintenance needs, costs, and hardware/staffing requirements for solution choices.
4. Ability to collect and analyze business requirements and in conjunction with the SharePoint Architect, recommend the best solution using SharePoint 2013 and/or related technologies.
5. Work with the Application development and Operations team to document technical requirements.
6. Assist users in user acceptance testing.
7. Ability to coordinate and facilitate demos of interim and final solutions to stakeholders.
8. Provide weekly updates to the Project Manager
9. Perform as a team player and communicate with various levels of the group including Clients and Senior Management.
10. Applicant must be able to successfully perform in an Open AGILE/War Room/Colocation environment.
